I read these tips for Healthy Eating:
- Before you eat, ask yourself:do I need this food, or do I just want it?
- Eat a healthy breakfast every day
- Aim for a diet high in fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and lean meat.
- Starving hyourself doesn't work; it only slows down your metabolism, which can lead to weight gain.
I wish I could follow these tips.

You CAN!!! Don't lose hope. Don't despair. The fact that you are here saying you wish you could follow the tips is a good sign. Take each day one at a time. Don't get upset when one day doesn't go as well as you had hoped. Start fresh the next day. It's a little like doing the old dance, The Bunny Hop. Two steps forward and one step back :) We all have our weaknesses and we all have our good days and bad days. The key is to just keep trying. You only fail when you stop trying. It might take a week or a month or even a year to replace the bad habits with the good habits and to learn to choose healthy foods over unhealthy foods. Don't give yourself a time limit. Just keep trying. And journalling helps a lot! I find it more important to journal when I'm not doing well as it is very therapeutic to get the emotions out and also to have people add their support and advice. Good to see you back here.
