Hello my friendly followers,
In the weight department I am holding my own, no ups or downs which means I am maintaining my weight...Still need to break this deplorable plateau..
Ive had a somewhat terrible surprise on Sunday morning as my eye was swollen shut and I had several bumps on scalp and behind ears and lymph nodes swollen something terribe, went to Doctor on Monday morning and was told I have Shingles in/on my head... this is so so painful, my eye looks like someone gave me the boots and Doctor sent me over to my optometrist who is in the same block as my doctor and he was very concerned about the eye and told me that he has seen this many times and checked me out and said my cornea is crystal clear sometime shingles can get on the cornea and do scaring which will interfere with vision... I am to see him again on Friday for a follow up.
I have to go to Doctor's tomorrow as she called me and has the results of the swabs she took of my liquid running out of my eye to confirm if it is viral or bacterial, which she said is most likely viral (Shingles) as it has all the symptoms of shingles... also will give prescription for medication for this (whatever) it is...I sure hope it clears up as fast as it can, I do not need this NOW! .....interfering with my weight loss, walking, etc. as the pain is so terrible.
I will keep my chin up and try to work around this if I can... will keep you all posted....Here's hoping you all have a great day.. Cheers!
