As expected, weight is up a full pound today. I am not worried too much, since I had not enough water on Monday, while at the climbing gym. Half a liter of water in 4 hours there, is really not enough. Will bring more next time.
I started again following my university-like or till-few years-ago schedule, when I was doing plenty of things every day after work. Yesterday I went buying groceries, then cooked for today's lunch and breakfast, seen my German-Italian speaking partner, met the Italian guys as every week. Woke up at 7am and went to bed at 1am. When I like so much what I am doing I don't feel tired, feel very motivated, and I feel like doing a billion things during the day. And I wake up at the first alarm sign, not after 40 minutes....
At some point last year, I felt the super-active me was gone since I had not even the strength to have "normal" days. I am so happy this attitude is back! I feel I am myself again, every day more than before. It's such a nice feeling.

Yesterday I fell off the wagon... I had my first coffee break after about a year eating what my colleagues are eating. I promised myself to have one only cookie, but then the cookies were 2 and the chocolates maybe 5 or 6. Ouch! That's a lot of calories, but also a lot of junk food, which is worse. I not so much worried about calories, but about health.
Today I'll try to skip the coffee break or to eat only the kiwi fruit I brought from home.
Once I start eating sweet stuff, somehow I cannot stop myself anymore. All or nothing, even if I would prefer something in between.
Learning to control is hard, right? I guess many of us experienced this...

Today I am going swimming with a colleague, after work. Haven't been there for 2 or 3 weeks, really glad to go today.

In a way, my life fell in pieces during the past few years, but it seems now the pieces are slowly going back to their place. I feel so happy now, as I haven't done during the past 4 years.

Life is good, and through our efforts we can improve it!

UPDATE:
Since few mornings I started having yogurt and fruit smoothies for breakfast. They taste so good! Especially when I add a small piece of chocolate or some blackberry juice! Something to look forward to when the alarm starts making that awful noise in the morning!

I look forward to my shake everyday too! The past two days I had it with a homemade chocolate protein bar. So I feel like I am eating chocolate ice cream an chocolate cake... No guilt because it's all healthy lower calorie foods. If you ever want the recipes let me know. Yum!
