Here's day 3 on SB and things are looking good today... I step on the scale and it's the first time in forever it seems that I see a loss. It's not even a full pound, it's a half, but I feel optimistic that I'm moving in the right direction. I think I've found a workout buddy so that's something positive. I refuse to look this way when my husband comes home. I know you can look at the previous pics and I have come a long way, but I've still got a ways to go when it comes to the stomach, butt, and thigh area... that just needs to tone up and go away! I ate really good yesterday and only had salad so I'll try to continue eating really healthy and lean foods. My mom got the new SB book yesterday, the quicker weight loss one and she mentioned a few things to me I may be doing wrong... or that aren't helping me. I think I may be eating too much red meat... I mean I eat chicken a lot, but not generally for dinner so I'm gonna try to cut back on the steak and eat more chicken. Another thing it mentioned is for those that don't eat seafood more than twice a week (which I don't cuz I hate seafood) should take omega 3 supplements. Something about needing a certain ratio between omega 6's and 3's so I think I may go get some supplements. I think I may just buy the book too, just a thought. So that's about if for that... my weight is finally moving in the right direction... DOWN!!!

I tell everyone who will listen that fish and veggies is what always sped my losses along. Yes, if you arent eating enough fish you should be taking those supplements. I was also told those Omega 6's & 3's help with the elasticity of our skin, which helps minimize some of the saggy skin from weight loss. I dont' know if it's true but I eat a lot of fish and my skin seems healthier now. Good girl....keep looking into everything and yes, READ, read. read! Do you have a used book store near you? I love those. I got all my South Beach books from a used book store. You can even take and trade your old books and they credit you. Anyway...you're doing great and you look fantastic. You'll get everything figured out.

Same here on the seafood. I am not a big fan of it, unless it is fried. I need to start experimenting with it. I have the new book and started doing the interval training and workout that it has in the book. Anxious to see the results.
