I thought I would start today with a couple quotes..

So yesterday I bundled up and went for an errand walk. Nothing too exciting really.. But dang glad I did it because today is freezing! -30 with the wind chill!!
these extra cold temps re-inforce my gratefulness to have a roof over my head which provides warmth and shelter. There are too many people living on the streets that do not have this basic necessity in their lives. I dread to look at a newspapre or watch the news as I am certain some individuals would not have made it through the night. At one time this would not have bthered me, but now it does greatly.
I've learned that taking things for granted is a very narrow minded thing to do, simply because in a flash things can be gone and no matter how much you wish they would return they don't.
So here I am trying to control how much I eat and grumbling about this and that regarding food, when others would be grateful for a simple warm meal.

Anywys that's my ramble for today, with a goal to appreciate what I have and be grateful for the basic necessities. Simply changing one's life around is easier said then done.
