Aiming for 55% calories from carbohydrates, 25% from protein, 20% from fat. Limit saturated fat to less that 10%. Avoid trans fat. Limit cholesterol to less than 200 mg a day. Target 28 to 34 g per day of Fiber. Limit sodium to less than 1500 mg per day.
