Here I am once again. I am going to try to loose weight yet again. I am just going to eat small portions and try to watch my calories. Add more fruit and veggies to my diet. No more fad diets for me. Non of them worked. I could not follow them. So I am going back to the basic diet of counting calories and trying to get more exercise in.

what a positive post! I too am tired of the fad diets they make me feel so restricted. I am doing the same little to no processed foods and more fruits n veggies adding exercise to my day and 9 glasses of filtered water trying to get rid of all the bad chemicals we get in our water and food good luck and have a great week

I can't count the amount of time I tried the cabbage soup diet, sure you would lose a few pounds, but the restriction and lack of flavour and how bored I was with the damn soup, it was so stressful even if it was only for a few days! And of course any weight lost would be back on the following week! Here's to a permanent life style change and never needing a quick fix ever again!!

I agree with both of you. Thank you for your input. The fad diets are what got us all gaining weight. One diet tells you that one food is good for you and then another diet tells you NO don't eat that food that is bad for you. I just saw a book the other day that is called the Wheat belly at the store. I opened it up and what do you think it said? It said Wheat now gives us belly fat! Who do you trust? Once I saw that, I said enough is enough. I am going old school. Counting Calories and Exercising.
