I AM MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One hour and 40 minutes yesterday on the treadmill (Watched an entire movie), ate unusually well (No more than 1300 calories), and still no budge on the scale! I've been creeping down so slowly that I feel as if the fat is a new appendage. It is stuck like a parasite! I'm SO MAD!!!!!!! I was looking for a big loss and not just staying the same. Actually, I technically gained two ounces. I know it's not true, but the scale is being really, REALLY mean!!! Darn scale!! I wish I didn't step on it this morning so that I could maintain my blissful, although ignorant, assumption that I'm doing great!!

Okay. I'm done fuming. I know I just have to continue. So I'll try a repeat of yesterday and check in with the scale tomorrow! It had better be nicer to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alrighty, that's understandable, but how are your clothes fitting? Sometimes when you gain muscle you won't see any movement on the scale, but you'll feel it in the way your clothes fit. Keep it up! You'll get there!

The clothes do feel better and I feel lighter, which is why I was shocked that the scale didn't reflect the loss. I know I did well, and I know I shouldn't be so disappointed because the fact of the matter is that I've been trying for months to get on a downward spiral which I'm finally on, albeit slowly. But I'm still mad at my scale!!!!!!!!!!

If you can hold out on weighing yourself (which it very difficult for me) I suggest doing it. Keep up with your exercise and drink your waters...you will loose. I'll bet you drop next week. Keep at it!!!! How you feel says it all!

Are you spreading out your 1300 calories per day? Maybe have six small meals a day that consist of about 200-220 calories each? That might kick your metabolism into gear and your scale down a smidge more. :)

Girl! I'm with you! I did 2 weeks of South Beach and then wanted a bigger challenge so started Atkins. I lost 12 lbs on SB and then 7 more on Atkins. The DAY I started exercising I stopped losing. I'm hoping my body is just saying 'what the heck just happened' and it's not going to be months and months of stalls and plateaus. It is REALLY irritating and it seems like I've been holding steady at 156 for much longer than 15 days. This dieting business is teaching me patience. But mostly you just want to scream and pull out your hair. Hang in there!
