Happy Tuesday! :)

It's sunny today here in Germany, and it improves a lot my mood. I feel happy for no reason, even if I have been fired...

Yesterday I have been eating too much salt and today the scale tells 1kg extra. It might be also because of me eating bread on both Saturday and Sunday. I should not have done it... I spent all Sunday night in "good company" of diahrrea, I took my ipad with me and watched stuff on youtube since I could not move from the toilet... On Sunday I had more than 4 liters of water, that it's too much since I usually drink only 2 liters.

It's crazy, on Saturday night I have been to a bbq, and there was no food available till 10pm (and I had brunch at 12,30pm and only an espresso between brunch and dinner). So, I was starving and before meat was ready at about 11pm, I had veggies but they did not fill up my stomach. So, I had half of a medium baguette. It filled up my stomach, but I have been paying for that for three days.
I forgot the basic lesson: before having a bbq or a dinner at friends, always eat something healthy that fills up your stomach BEFORE leaving home.. So, even if I am tempted by bread (it's one year I don't eat bread regularly cause of gluten free diet) my stomach will not need food and I will be able to skip it.

On Sunday I had a full Italian meal, I cooked for friends and I have choosen food which was not too bad for health and I looked after my portions. It's been my weekly indulgence day, and I realized I need it in order not to have my overnight overeating sessions.

I realized how strongly emotions influence me with eating. The past week it has been tough and all in all I used food to comfort myself only a couple of times, while last year I did it on a regular basis. I have been eating chocolate, that it's not too bad after all, compared to the junk I used to eat in these occasions.
After my mother died I used to have a "meal" 3 hours after dinner, and I ate only cakes, candy and sweet stuff. It was at the same hour we had our daily phone call.

Ok, now I am going out for a walk and a coffee, and will try to work a bit in the afternoon.

Life is good and it's in our hands!

-a sunny day
-a "raku ceramik" bowl I had as a present
-my lil nice flat :)
