Woo hoo guys, I've been so busy this week on the dig an I've been SO exhausted. Anyway, no word back from the guy in Alaska, so I called the woman from Fort Scott Kansas and accepted the position there! I can't believe it's coming up so soon (April 20th or before). I had wanted to exercise this week while I'm at the dig, but I'm just too tired every day. I get up around 5 or 5:30 and then am at the dig by 7:30 and we dig until 4, so I don't get home until after 5 and being out in the sun and stuff really wears me out! Today wasn't as bad since I was doing paperwork all day.

So my goal is to try and lose 10 pounds by the time I go to Kansas. I'm also going to try and find a gym out there. I think that since I'm getting an apartment normally apartment complexes have a little gym and then I wouldn't have to pay a membership fee. 10 pounds is a lot, considering I'm not going to "start" until Monday it's basically 5 weeks - yikes, 2lbs a week!!! I've got my work cut out for me, but I want to look my best. I think I've also convinced Greg to do it with me. I'm going to do the Power 90 videos hopefully in the morning and evening since one is a cardio and the other strength training.

I'm excited and nervous about going to Kansas. It's soon and there's lot of preparing to do...

sounds like you have a plan in place! 2 lbs a week is a reasonable, healthy rate of loss...sounds like the dig is going well, be sure and keep hydrated while in the sun all day!

Gosh i'm really excited for you! are you relocating to Kansas?? and this job that you accepted...is it a paid position?? how far are you from Kansas right now?? lots of questions, I know! But I just can't let you go off and dig without knowing if you'll be alright! LOL

Lol BA let me see...I'm only going to be living in KS for 3 months from the end of April to the middle of July. It is not a paid position, unfortunately, but I'll learn a lot and my apartment is paid for and I get a $75 a week stipend for food and things. I live in South Carolina and from where I live it is a 17 and a half hour drive (1067 miles). Fort Scott is right over the Missouri border. And I actually won't be digging with this internship in KS, it will be doing some museum work (I'm digging THIS week!) It's ok that you are asking lots of questions, I'm really excited about it!

It sounds like all that digging is working you out a little anyway... :)
