Yeah, so it looks like I'm just about exactly two months in and I'm obviously not losing weight. On the other side, I'm also not gaining any weight. My body shape is definitely changing through all of the strengh training to the point that people are commenting. Aside from becoming stronger and more toned, my endurance has greatly improved. The best news of all is that after becoming smoke free on October 10th, I've now eliminated my final crutch (lozenges) and have therefore been completely nicotine free since July 4th. Having smoked since I was 12 years old, Indepenence Day seemed most fitting.

Funny how writing all of this down puts the big picture into clearer focus. I am now smoke free. I am neither starving myself, nor gorging. I am practicing a regular excersize routine of cardio and strength training. All this time I've been focusing in my mind mostly on the fact that I haven't lost any weight. What I see now is that so far I'm doing pretty darn well afterall.

Maybe July will show results in the slimming area too. :)
