I am expecting two packages tomorrow from usps. They don’t go through your neck of the woods but anything you and others can do is appreciated by everyone. Thank you for your service Deborah in making the holiday full of joy !!

Seriously short of help this year, Covid, Flu, RSV is everywhere and call in's which were pretty rare this time of year for Postal Workers are happening at a rate of 2 to 3 per post office daily. This is the time of year that over-time limits have been removed and everything over 8 hours is time and a half, nobody misses out on that so poor attendance has never been an issue the week before Christmas in the past...but it is now and they must really be sick to be missing out on it! So, the healthy clerks in TC are being pulled to neighboring Post Offices and I am elected to hold down the fort! The money is great, but I had plans for my me time!!! 

HoneeBuns! I answer to every form of Debra, Brenda, Betty and Doris, LadyBug is my customer's nickname for me....I even have a Chinese name...Hey Yoo! LOLOLOL 

How do you get Brenda Betty and Doris out of Debra?😂. Working everyday sucks but $$$$ does NOT suck! Question-what’s your timeline for thinking about retiring? 

2035 or 40 or 50...LOLOLOL I love MY post office and I would drag my tail in there every day just to see my customers, but, the Powers that Be, don't believe in leaving someone alone and letting them do the job. They want team work and if I have extra time on my hands and they feel they need my well trained hands somewhere else....I don't have a whole lot of choice except to go. I'm a PTF, which stands for Part-Time Flexible and they pay no attention to the Part-Time thing...but focus on the Flexible aspect when it suits their purposes 😁 I have to submit requests for time off even when I schedule a Doctor's appointment for my non-scheduled time. 

Brenda, Betty and Doris are the most common names that folks who can't remember my name call me. Maybe I look like a Brenda, Betty or Doris in their past...who knows? I just answer cuz I know they are talking to me.  

Gosh Debra you are just the most wonderful kind of human. Truly you are 

I hope you can find a little time for yourself as you are always helping others and you deserve it and much more... 

I worked for the post office for 27 yrs now retired for 2. I never really had a Christmas for 27 yrs do to eat sleep work but now the Christmas spirit is back.

So sorry to hear this but I must admit that the mail man/woman is one of the most important people in my life. I admire your dedication!
