Prayers for sweet Sydney! Hopefully it will be something easy to fix, like a UTI that can be fixed with antbiotics

Fritzy and saran, Thank you. Yes we are hoping it's just a UTI but when she had her teeth cleaned/ pulled she had blood work done and had elevated liver counts so hopefully she is ok. We love her so much!💜💜🙏🙏

YOH, Sydney is about 12. We adopted her when she was 6, so no way to be sure but that’s what vet said. Heelers live to be 13-15 years old so she is definitely a senior.

Got it. Underlying fear is also age. Our oldest boy is already 4 and I find myself thinking…already? It’s so easy to love them with our whole heart! Deservedly so as well for they are pure and innocent beings. Keep us posted. Hoping and praying she is going to be just fine.😘. Hugs for both of you…and Joe😜

Prayers on order, Diana. Sometimes pulling teeth/dental can release an infection, that should also be easily treatable.

Nikina, writing, otb, storms, Thank you guys! Hoping for the best!!🩷🩷 Katsolo, thanks! When she had her teeth pulled, the Vet did tell us elevated liver enzymes can happen from stress of surgery and he was going to check her in 3 months. It's been around 2 months so we are hoping it's enzymes are ok and perhaps she just has a UTI. On a different subject I finally got my PM monitor. It's amazing. It's the size of a cell phone and I can monitor it on my phone! ( my old one was size of a kids shoe box!) We downloaded app but t couldn't register my phone ( an android) but it said to wait a week and try again.

Redporch, Thank you. Sydney is so quirky, which heelers are known to be but hers is extreme. She would never survive on a farm/ ranch! She doesn't like to be outside. She loves going to park with us but it's to be with Joe and I, not to be running around etc. She is our Velcro dog! She doesn't like inside noises. She hates when I tear foil off of container, hates when we sneeze or cough, and many other things. But, she is our baby and we look very her!💜 Michelle, thank you and I'm sorry to hear your furbaby is having issues as well. Sending hugs!💜

YOH, We had just lost our chow/German shepherd at age 18. He was the perfect dog. We went to Walmart one day and saw an adoption event at Pet Smart so Joe talked me into " just looking" We saw Sydney and the rescue owner told us she had been severely abused and may not be adoptable. She was already older and he said we could take her home and do a trial run. We decided to do that and because I was the one who took her from crate, she imprinted with me. Well after we got her home she hid in a corner, wouldn't let Joe near her, wouldn't go to the bathroom, ( it took 3 days) and was just petrified of everything and aggressive to anyone who came over. Joe was patient and he fed her everyday so eventually she trusted him.It was so bad that we did consider returning her but we knew she would be out down. We worked with her every day and Joe took her to park every day to bond and socialize. She still has lots of fears but much better than befoe
