Diana 1234's Journal, 14 November 2023

Went to endocrinologist yesterday for annul checkup. Thyroid on point, bloodwork all good in that area but liver enzymes and iron levels low. Just gonna watch it for now.
Yesterday marked 1 week since surgery. Other than a few things I feel pretty good.

Glad that you are feeling okay! Wonder why iron levels would be low. I'd take it as an excuse for a cheeseburger!

Dr thought liver numbers could be affected by surgery which makes sense except that I remembered after we left I did blood work before my surgery..Oops... I did start walking yesterday. 1st walk was 1/2 mile. I came home and took a nap..🥱

Nice looking scar— so glad it is over. Took long enough, huh? Just give yourself some healing time. Work up to your prior levels of exercise— don’t go balls to the wall off the bat

Glad you are recovering and you got your first walk in!! If I remember correctly you don't eat a lot of red meat. I was talking to my doctor about my blood levels and how much protein I take. He just said watch red meat but I looked at him and said I grew up on a farm and I eat a wide variety of protein from chicken to fish to greek yorgurt etc. He said you are fine-keep doing what you are doing. I don't have any 60 year olds come in that are lifting weights!! LOL

Thanks everyone. I am feeling pretty good today and I walked about 1)2 mile again. Was gonna do it twice but got tired in the afternoon. I appreciate all your comments Thanks again!💜💜💜💜
