Exposing Anatoly! Here he shows some kid rowing what looks like good weight. He goes and picks it up one handed. How much weight do you think it is? So if you zoom in n see it’s 15kg bumpers. And 5kg on the side. And that bar is a 4fter, so it weighs 25lbs.

He’s a trickster, who’s decently strong. With decent musculature. Not super strong. As with the internet is something is too good to be true or in this case too crazy to be true then it usually is. I can do this. Where’s my 6million followers. Oh weight it doesn’t look impressive with a full size barbell and 1plate if 45 and 1plate of 25 on each side

I saw these videos, I thought it was a skit, fake weights. Lol

It is a skit!!! But he has 6million followers that believes he’s godly strong lol he does so my fooling but not lying since he never list the weight. You can’t say he’s lying, people are the ones that assumes it’s heavy 🤷🏾‍♂️

I get annoyed cuz these are what my friends send me all the time since they know I lift! They like look at this guy out lifting big ass dudes. I break it down for them and have to convince them it’s a skit. Takes a few videos but now they believe me

Yea I can even admit that he’s strong for his size. But ain’t no way he’s out lifting dudes twice his size it’s all deception

Plus the way he walks with ease, with the weight or 1 hands it… I’m skeptical 😂…

Yea the initial pick up looks suspect cuz it looked like he almost front raises it up lol but that’s only 185lbs. I’ve picked up 225 with one hand before. It’s even easier to balance with the short bar.

ah that’s disappointing, but makes sense

Why are the plates so big?
26 May 23 by member: Yearofhealth2023
Yea with these bumpers it’s hard to tell the weight now. Steel plates looks less impressive nowadays

Back when I started out there was only one 'big plate' The 20 kg. Everything revolved around that. 'How many plates a side?' That told you everything you needed to know! Simple.

You’re not lying Anne, now people get followers. So they try anything to make themselves stand out. Followers = money and when money is involved things aren’t honest anymore.

Yeah, Super. It is a whole different ballgame now!

Yea I’ve seen that one too. I’m not trying to shit on sumo. But sumo should be compared to sumo. And conventional to conventional. Normally someone who does both and has enough mobility to dig their hips in to erect their back straight even before the lift will get an advantage. They basically from there just push up with their legs. It’s kinda like comparing half squats to full range squats. Now if sumo is done with a reserved stand and lift the same way as a conventional, then it’s useful. I don’t know if you guys know what a deadlift bar+sumo stance means. But a deadlift bar will flex and give you a 2-3” bend. Just switching to a deadlift bar will net you 20-30lbs more. And most powerlifters who does both their sumo is around 80-100lbs heavier than their conventional. I can’t prove this cuz my hip mobility sucks and a deadlift bar is 400 bucks 😂 but that’s my take on that. He’s strong for his size. But his whole thing he got going s he’s making dudes twice his size lookin silly. Which is fake.

There was one video that I don’t care to through his vids to find. But he was showing a big muscular dude deadlift 4 big plates like these. Which you’d think it’s 405 but it’s not it’s 15kg plates. And he does in and picks it up and they all act amazed. It’s stuff like that that gets me. Cuz it’s deceptive. Cuz 4 plates of 15kg is under 350lbs

I just watch him for the laughs 😂

Yea like a source of entertainment. Like wwe where you know theyre acting that’s fine. But people send me his stuff and goes look! Or if you like him for his actual lifts that’s fine too. Cuz dude is pretty strong for his size not for a size twice his size. That’s all I’m saying

I still watch and laugh at his videos fake or not lol. He has a great physique and is very strong for his size. I would love to hit his size and strength level. But yeha when you watch him deadlifting using calibrated powerlift8ng plates you can see he's not nearly as strong as he portrays himself. But still he's getting some reps with 450 that's pretty damn good

Yea as long as you know. The majority of the people doesn’t. Watch jmack talk about ped use in the powerlifting world. He uses steroids and is still relatively small but he only uses it around competition for the strength boost.

He wants to stay small for the weight class advantage. And sadly that’s what most people does these days to “even” the playing field
