Another "great" day...not really. I woke up and weighed in at 233.33. Not good. When am I going to dip under 230? I didn't eat until I felt hungry at about 1pm. I had low carb chicken and salad with feta. Then, I began drinking water. This is crazy. I still am not up to 64 oz. My teeth are floating and in a strange way, I am thirsty. I could never do this during school. I have to sometimes wait hours to go to the bathroom! Now, I'm going every 20 minutes. I don't feel hungry but my mood is low. I am irritated and defeated. I weighed myself again and went up to 236!!!

Really, I just want to quit eating. I don't know what more I can do... Getting on the treadmill for 45 minutes! I think I'm pissed off enough to jog.

I'm sorry you are struggling. Atkins advises you to eat every 4-6 hours and have 1500 - 1800 calories per day. You should not be going without food all morning and into the early afternoon. It sounds like you need to reread the Atkins rules. If you play by the book, you are much more likely to see consistent losses. Best wishes!

Hi Rimbaud, Good job with your weight loss so far. Are you still trying to restrict your calories? If so that could be why you're in a bad mood. Having gone up 2.5lbs this past week I know what a downer it can be. One thing to consider is to focus more on resistance training rather than cardio. Despite the common 'burn calories' dogma excesive cardio can actualy cause you to metabolize your muscles instead of fat. Plus it will make you hungry. Don't do more than 30mins of cardio in a day, you'll get better results spending your time with weights.
