Things have been bad. I've been avoiding the gym. My gym partner is MIA...My knees throb during the day. I've been eating oatmeal and cream of wheat for breakfast. (Which leaves me starving by 10am!) I've been eating candy and double fiber bread. I've gained 20 pounds back:( I feel fat and dull. I am exhausted by the end of the day.
However, I am still down 30 pounds. I am working on getting off all "fake" foods. This means NO ATKINS BARS, alcohol sugars, diet products, and shakes.

Still weighting in about two pounds higher than my lowest weight. However, I think I finally figured out what is making me nauseated. It's the whey protein stuff from GNC! I googled side effects and found out that the whey is made from daily products. If one is lactous intolerant, it can cause fatique, lack of appetite, and vomiting. (I guess I should have thought of Little Miss Muffet's "curds and whey"...) Anyway, I'm done with that stuff. Also, I'm done with the raw eggs. Woke up to hearing "...deaths reported from medicine-resistant salonella" on the radio. I don't need that stuff anyway, I need to learn how to eat semi-normally.
I barely made it to aqua zumba this morning. I got the last card. I then went to the silver stride class after. I actually got a good workout from the second class by adding those resistance hand and foot things. I was the youngest person in the pool by about forty years.
Last night when I went out, my friend brought me some pics from her wedding. I looked giantic! I was a bridesmaid and had to wear a floor length sleeveless gown. The gown was beautiful but my arms are twice as big as everyone elses'. (There were nine other bridesmaids.) That was a real boost. Maybe I haven't lost as much as I hoped this summer but I look so much better. Also, that "smaller" size 16 bathing suit I bought for later actually fit!!! I wore it today and the cups were actually a little big? I haven't been a 16-18 for at least five years. That is awesome.
I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes so I burned almost 900 calories today! Not bad for a former couch potato. If it stops raining, I'll take the dog for a walk around the track. (Although he's a black lab, this dog hates to get wet. He'll refuse to go outside in the rain. )
I have to keep in mind that weight is just a number. Good health and measurements are more important.
