Yea this app is weird with the cooked rice. Plus it never cooks to the same weight, and weighs different hot vs cool. I've found that the most accurate way to do it is factor you calories per packaging dry weight then just cook that amount .

I *think* if you log cooked white rice (long grain) it comes out the closest. But still the amount of water u use and if it's hot or cooked still changes the weight.

But yea it’s hard for me to measure dry cuz we have a rice cooker and it’s not just me eating it lol. I just need ball park tho doesn’t need to be on the dot

Or would stuff it in a cup measure be better since then the water weight don’t make a difference 🤔

Superman, that link you posted is bullshit info man. Rice is rice. Lol Jasmin rice isnt 3x the cal of reg rice. C'mon, what makes you think that's true. Google rice nutritional info. All pages say they are almost identical.

Pain I just posted a pic of googles nutrition lol

Nice info, never knew that. Probably because of the amount of starch is different in each(probably). I know glutinous rice always make me sleepy when i ate them tho.

Don’t take it too seriously tho. I’m still confused. Some sites says it’s close and some says it’s a good amount of difference.
