Today is #2 on my "diet." One thing I don't like about dieting is that I tend to obsess about food. I will have to go through every vegetable that I eat to make sure the # of calories is equivalent to what fatsecret says it is. I'm grateful that there are vegetables as I really need that crunchy texture to give me a feeling that I'm eating and feel full. One thing I need to do more of is drink more fluids. Also, I need to get out first thing and walk so I don't have to worry that I didn't do it. I'm also grateful that NS makes some good desserts. One of my favs is the Chocolate Crunch Bar. If I continue w/ this, I won't order the cookies any longer as they tend to be like the pizza/ cardboard-like texture, whereas the Lemon/Chocolate bars are more like the real thing! Imagine having a candy bar that you can eat the whole thing and have only a smidge the calories of the regular one. To me, that's worth paying a little more for so you feel like you're getting a treat. I did notice that the NS pudding has more cals than the jello ones, so I might stop ordering that one, though. Also, I am soooooooo grateful for jello! I've noticed that 2 x today I was getting urges/ feeling nervous and I got one out and it helped me to stick w/ the program. Lastly, I am taking the Vita... chews and that gives me another item where I feel I'm getting something to eat. Tomorrow. LS
