Had a bad couple of days. Tuesday night, due to left over anxiety/depression from Monday's therapist appointment, after being pretty good, I succumbed to the siren call of cupcakes Catherine (my 21 year old daughter) made that have been sitting on the counter for a couple of days. Yesterday, I had a meeting at the hospital after work which was catered. I had salad and took the chicken breast off of a sandwich and had intended to eat just that but then went and had half of the sourdough roll that it was on. On the way home I passed a McDonald's and decided, "what the hell" and went through the drive through a bought and devoured a small order of fries. I continued my downward spiral by eating stale (yes, stale) muffins (apple walnut and maple pecan) that were given to us on Thanksgiving by my mother-in-law. They were forgotten in a box and so dry that I had to moisten them with water before microwaving them!

Not to make excuses, but (okay, close your eyes folks of the male persuasion) after not having anything for 4-5 months, I had a migraine the other night and my breasts have been really tender like I am going to have my period again! I mean, come on!!! I started at 10 years old and will be 54 in March! Hormones rage!!!!

Oh poor you! You sound like you NEED a good laugh. You know you had the PMS Demons whispering in your ear, so, you were not entirely to blame. And it doesn't matter anyway, because we will sort all this damage out in January, eh! Meanwhile, sending big (((hugs))) to you and chin up ;) xXx

Oh my marvelous woman, we're made of the most wonderful - albeit sensitive- material. Treat yourself with loving care and maybe a nice hot bath. We just need to remember during these times that food will never fill the whole left us by heaven.

Some time our bodies betray us. Who in their right mind would want to be a woman? LOL m My hormones always lead me astray with lots of carbs. So nice to be old and past it. Hang in there. We are rooting for you.

If your therapist makes you depressed.......why go? Maybe get a new one! Lol. Hang in there. The more weight I lost, the more my depression LESSENED ! Now, I'm talking moderate to severe depression not bipolar or schizophrenia. There is hope ! We have no Master Raymond to perform fantastical therapies on us but low carb can do some amazing things !
