Happy Thursday to my FS friends. Hope you are having a great week so far. Finding out today that my lack in motivation in exercise, since starting my new job, may be what has been causing my plateau. I really only exercised once or maybe twice a week for the past month and a half. So, last week I decided to wake up early and exercise in the morning. I am a little more tired at night, but I have been sleeping much better. That's is a good thing, but this is where I think I am really noticing it. I weigh myself every day. I know, bad habit, but I don't log it. I just try to monitor where I am at, so that when I do log my weight, I don't get disappointed if there is a big jump, I usually know why. So, Sunday, I weigh myself, and I am at my current logged weight. Awesome. Monday I work out, weigh myself, and I gained 2 pounds, Tuesday, gained another pound. So 273 on Tuesday. Tuesday, I walk at the mall, really make good food choices all day, work the second job, where all I do is walk, and then passed out when I got home. Worked out Wednesday morning, got on the scale, dropped 2 pounds. Sweet. Took it easy the rest of the day, no walking at lunch, but worked the second job, pretty much by myself. (I work in receiving and unload trucks. I had a pretty big truck to do last night.) Got on the scale this morning, dropped back down to 269. I think I will keep up with my routine. I know that the 4 pound drop in 2 days is not going to keep going, but it is a step in the right direction.

Hope you all have a great day.

I like your new picture :-) There is really no point in driving yourself crazy with going on the scale everyday. Relax and trust that you will get rid of the fat if you keep exercising and staying at your RDI.

I do the same thing with weighing myself. I'd say if it starts bothering you then only weigh once a week or maybe twice. I figured out that Monday is usually my heaviest and Friday is my lightest. so if I weigh those 2 days I know if I'm with in a pound or 2 on Monday of my Friday weight then im good.

That is really good, JD. That initial jump could've been water gain from weights. They draw in water to repair. But, clearly, the consistency has allowed you to drop. The walking is awesome. Gotta mix it up.

Hang in there JD and I would recommend not watching the scale on a daily basis because our bodies can fluctuate 2 pounds any direction. Great job in finding times to get your workouts in!
