Actually got on the elliptical tonight and instead of a slow and easy 15 to 20 minutes (first time I have been on this thing in more than a year I think), I overdid it and went for 35 minutes. 15-20 minutes just didn't seem like enough time for a reasonable workout, but now now I see my error. I feel like crap!! Lesson learned! No wonder I dread the damn thing so much, and it's my own fault.
