Arrevanthas's Journal, 01 May 2014

Waking up this morning was a bit difficult but a call from my mentor from school woke me. After that phone call, I debating on whether I should go back to sleep or get on with my day. I really really REALLY wanted to go back to sleep...but instead, I made the better choice and started my day. Because of this, I was able to get most of my workout done this morning (Yay for me!). After that, I cleaned up and have been just relaxing and slowly getting everything done for today. Pretty proud of myself for it so since it's a new month, I am going to try to keep this going.

I like working out in the morning as opposed to working out in the evening. The only reason I like it more is because I feel so much more energetic and awake during the day. I also tried this shake stuff that my sister got me to help give me "something to eat" in the mornings and while I didn't care much for the taste (mixed it with Almond Milk), it succeeded in filling me up through the rest of the morning until about 2.00 pm. Pretty happy about that. So...new month! And I am going to do my best to keep everything up to date. I figure I can start my journals out in the morning and finish them up at night as opposed to just doing it all at night. I am also going to try to keep waking up early so I can work out in the morning and feel ready to take on the day!

Day 1 Summary (shh...don't judge me lol!)
*Oil Pulling: I think I have finally got it to where I don't gag when I do this. While the place where my gums were receding is still a reddish pink, it looks so much better now. My teeth are becoming whiter AND...I noticed today that some of the sensitivities I have experienced with cold things are seeming to improve. When I rinse my mouth, it used to hurt when I used cold water and I am too impatient to wait for it to heat up just so I can rinse my mouth. So...today, when I rinsed, it noticed that the pain wasn't as severe. So...I am pretty hopeful this is working out well for me.

*MIF-Cardio/Strength/Yoga (another source): I have found that I definitely need to start doing my MIF in the mornings. The weather is getting increasingly hot (for now) and I find...unless I am forced to walk in the heat (like I have been doing), I have absolutely no motivation to do it. So...mornings it is.
-MIF-Cardio/Strength: I had to do the full DVD today and I hate that I still have to periodically stop to catch my breath or because my chest hurts. I would like to get it to where I don't have to stop but I am not going to push myself too hard. Injuring myself does me no good. :)
-AM Yoga: So I tried a different AM Yoga then the one I have normally been doing and you know...it's kind of strange. The other one...I don't burn as much but it stretches you out soooo nicely. This one, I burn more and move a bit more but the stretch is not as good. I am honestly torn on which I should do lol!

*Steps Taken (Goal-5000): TBA
