Needing a little help
So, every time I eat.... I feel bad about it.
Even if I only eat a cup of green beans and a small cube of cheese... I'm not sure why or what to do because of this I've only been eating around 700 to 800 calories a day for two months until I started counting calories and now that I'm eatimg more I'm feeling even worse.
Also since I've been eating so few calories, could that be why I'm not losing any weight?
I'm so confused.... :(

First you need to make sure your goal weight is appropriate for your age, height, body type, etc. Sometimes trying to go too low can be very difficult to achieve. You can actually weigh more but look smaller and leaner with fat loss and the right exercise. Anything below 1200 calories a day for women and you don't get the appropriate nutrition you need, so hopefully you have been taking a good vitamin to help. Maybe try alternating high and low days to jump start your metabolism again. (1200, 1000, etc.). If you don't exercise and can, start. If you do, then switch it up. Our bodies get used to the same thing. Make sure you are getting enough protein and high fiber foods. They help with fat loss. You might also check out "Becks Diet Solution" on Amazon.com. It's a book that helps us deal with how we feel about food. Food is fuel for the body, so you shouldn't feel guilty for eating. It's good to deal with those issues before they become big issues. I wish I had an easy answer for you, but our bodies do strange things. A nutritionist might be able to help too. Good luck!

Yes, it is possible to stop losing when eating too little. You're young so could obviously eat more that I could, so try eating more, get plenty of protein, and get some workouts in. Use weights, they'll keep you firm and increase metabolism. Good luck! Please don't feel guilty about eating. Your body is a machine. It needs fuel.

When you are not eating enough, your body holds on to what it thinks it needs...and 700 to 800 calories isn't anywhere NEAR enough for a healthy diet - hang in there!

your body is probably in starvation mode from not getting enough calories. You probably should be getting at least 500 more calories. And if you're active you will probably need more. I feel guilty when I eat too. I wish I wouldn't. Maybe after I lose weight I won't any more. When I was about 24 I went on a diet that I was only eating about 600-800 calories a day. I lost too much weight and also muscle. I rearranged my furniture one day and it felt like I pulled every muscle in my body. I hurt all over and could barely move. It was scary. Never again. Be careful and good luck!

Yes, eating too little will prevent you from losing weight. Your body thinks it's "starving". Try to create positive associations between eating fruits, vegetables, and possibly proteins. Watch silly cartoons and munch on baby carrots. Eat a banana while walking in the park.

AegyoZilla, I posted on my journal a book that sounds like it is right up your alley. Please consider reading it as I believe you would benefit from it. BTW your calories seem quite low. Please be patient with your body. Have a great day.
