A question for all of you who use protien powder.. First alittle info..I have been using protein and collagen powder for about 2 years. Never had a problem. The protein powder is a supplement to help get my protein over 100 grams a day as I'm trying to gain muscle and don't really like meat that much. I use one scoop daily of Muscle Tech.I was also eating Quest Protein bars about 3-4 times a week.
The collagen powder is for my hair and skin, with great results. Anyway, I can no longer tolerate the protien powder and the bars are the worst. It causes me to get nauseous and I feel horrible. All gurgley.. I thought about switching to vegan protein powder but have heard that it can cause same symptoms. Can anyone recommend a powder that doesn't cause such bad problems? I'm guessing it's the whey. I don't have issues with other dairy products but I also don't consume alot of them either. Thanks!

I’m sensitive to whey and am also looking for a protein powder. I’m leaning toward egg protein powder from GNC.

I'm a big fan of Amazing Grass's products. When I'm using a protein powder, I switch between the Honeysuckle Vanilla and Chocolate Rose. https://shop.amazinggrass.com/collections/amazing-protein

I like Muscle Milk & Glucerna for meal replacements. I use mostly Glucerna now that I am Diabetic II. :(

My local Sprouts still sells various unflavored protein powders (whey, pea, etc) from various sources. you might see if you can buy the isolated components to pinpoint the sensitivity. it could also be a new formula. try emailing to see if they've changed anything. also, I think Jay Robb (it's a brand) still sells egg protein powder all by itself.

I just went to his website. he's moved from SoCal to Florida and has gone from corporate looking dude in khaki pants to embracing his inner hippie. good for him. there's a sampler pack on the site.

I like Vega protein powder. I prefer the berry flavor to add to a small all berry smoothie and have not had stomach issues.

I have used all kinds of protein powders but lately I have been using: Dymatize 100% Whey Isolate Protein powder cocoa pebble flavor (It’s delicious and it does not upset my stomach.) I also have been using NutriBiotic Rice protein vanilla flavor protein powder (This is more bland in flavor but this also does not upset my stomach.) The rice protein powder is gluten free and vegan. You can get both of these at the Vitamine shop.

I can do some research on some products for you. I am in the middle of looking them up myself. I had been looking for a good brand for myself as well.

I have been using shakeology. There is a vegan option as well. I have not had any issues.

It’s likely your not tolerating the sweeteners used in the protein powder & the bars. They always cause me stomach issues. Even if you switch to plant based protein, check which sweeteners they are using. Hate for you to waste money on another product. Best of luck.

I agree with Wilda.. Sweeteners do a number on my friend.

I use Isopure whey protein isolate. It has no fillers and no sugar.

If you have a Sprouts near you, they're usually cheaper than online. And I agree on the sweeteners and fillers.

Morgan, maybe we can share research. I'm checking out all those listed in comments plus my fitness instructor said origins is good. Iphyll, dboza, Wildason, you may be on to something with the sweeteners, all that fake stuff can't be good...marie and jemarkman, thank u, I'll check those out.💜💜💜
