Good morning! Had a great night's sleep. I don't know why I love sleep so much, but I do. :) Got on the scale this morning as I felt thinner... well after the food fest of the previous month, I should! And... I was! Today I'm at 123.8 - nice drop in four days. Still not actually following that 17 Day Diet yet, but definitely getting back into eating better food and forgoing all the crap. (easy to do when we managed to consume most of it). Slight chance I might be able to hit the 120 before I start working out. Not a big one, not the way I typically lose weight, but a nice motivation. Think I am actually catching a cold. This morning in front of me, other than my laptop, I have a cup of the hot lemon water, just finished my Airborne, a cup of green tea, half a bottle of water, and my iced coffee! lol... Liquid diet so far... ha ha ha I really have to finish taking down my Christmas decorations today. Been putting off the tree - so many ornaments to put away, I so do not like that chore. But I need to do it, so since my husband took my truck to work today, I'm stuck here anyway. Might as well accomplish something! Okay, Youngbug? :D going to see if this works - a picture of my tummy! lol... Okay, it DID work. You can see the one scar I'm not thrilled with above my yoga pants band. I wish that vertical one wasn't there, but it should fade over the next year.

Good morning, D!!! Glad to see that scale moving in the right direction. Hope mine does the same when I weight in next week. I also love to sleep, just can't seem to do much of it these days. This darned cold is killing me! I can't breathe right, my throat dries out, I keep coughing, and I ache all over. All my decorations are down, with the exception of the Nativity. Today is the Epiphany, so those come down tomorrow. Hope that you aren't catching this nasty bug I have. Take care and have a great day!

Thanks, S! I hope I'm not getting that bug, either. Seems like it's hanging on for dear life with you! And nextnumber, too...think her's lasted forever, as well. Yes, I was very happy to see that scale move - it's just so scary when you've gone to these lengths and not even fully recovered and feel out of control. I'm sure you understand that fear. Are you drinking hot tea with honey and lemon? Oh, probably can't have honey on Atkins... can you? Well, bundle up, stay warm, drink tea anyway :D Get well soon! <3 <3 <3

Hi Lisa, Thanks! I'm most happy with my belly button! The picture doesn't do it justice. My daughter calls it the "perfect surfer girl" belly button! lol... I know, of all the things to be pleased about! It DID take a lot to get here, and as I've commented to my husband before - it took the doctor 9 hours to uncover what it took me 10 months to attain. Not complaining, but he gets a lot of the credit! But he is an artist, after all. I mean a surgeon :D

rwl, wow, Wow, WOW to your amazingly beautiful body! And then you have a pretty face AND that charming smile! Your husband is one of the luckiest guys in town. Whatever you went through it is worth it. Whatever your husband invested in it is worth it. And your surgeon deserve SOME credit. Well, let's be fair. The other half goes to you. You are the one did all the exercise and clean eating after all. Congrats, rwl, and enjoy your new you!
