sarita-b's Journal, 15 July 2013

Ok, well looks like this water weight thing may be under control now, I've had similar enough weigh ins for the past couple of days. My fiance and I talked a lot about our real concrete weight/body image goals for the limited time before the wedding. It's coming up, so we're both trying to improve as much as possible, while keeping our expectations reasonable. No crash diets! This week our combined goal/effort will be to eat clean food, and get 8 hours of sleep every night. With him working full time AND being in school, and me in school full time doing research, we often get home late, make dinner late, and want to veg out in front of the TV before getting to bed. We've not been very good about getting to sleep before 11 (I know we go to bed pretty early)...but we get up early..usually around 5 45 or 6 and I know that for me 10pm is ok, but 11pm to bed means I'll be dragging the next day, and after the majority of the week last week like that I realized I NEED to get more sleep, that I will feel better if I do...DUH right?!

I did well with exercise last week, 4 days, but the weekend got busy and I didn't do anything. It's been pretty warm so if I don't get a workout in, in the morning, my motivation to do so later in the day flat-lines since I absolutely hate working out in any sort of heat. (I am a pacific northwesterner through and through). Hope everyone had a good weekend and that you all are ready for what this week will bring!

Hello! I love your attitude. That is the best way to approach your wedding, or wedding stress! Well rested and good clean food, you will need it. Counting cal will lead you to success, drink you water, and try to get some movement. 4 out of 7 days a weeks seems like a winner! I don't do much but house chores and kids on the weekends, that burns calories though :)
