Day 45 of Insanity - Now I'm back to hating Shaun T! Get ONE day of a Max Recovery, thinking it's not all that bad... then BAM! I get Max Cardio Conditioning AND I get to do Insane Abs, too! Lucky me. So I've done the first workout - 48 min. and have 33 min. of Abs to do. Oh boy...

But, I'll go knock that out and get on with whatever the day has in store for me. Well, late afternoon! It's nearly 2:00, then a shower. Oh, and I did NOT go for a walk this morning. In fact, I had a weird night's sleep - the kind where you're almost half awake half the night. Not really deep asleep because you're pretty much aware of everything going on around you. Alarm went off at 7:00, took my pills and then actually fell into a deep sleep! Woke up at 9:30. Should make going to sleep tonight interesting...

On a good note, I updated my info on the bodybugg site - took new measurements and recorded my weight (132 - but won't record for a day or two). My body fat percentage using their sets of measurements (which is similar to the U.S. armed forces criteria) - they use neck, chest, waist, hips, thigh, calf, upper arm and forearm measurements. Anyway, bodyfat percentage was 22%! THAT makes me happy. I want to get to about 17% or so...put me in the "athletic" range :) and see how I feel and look. I really AM getting down to isolated areas of fat, and I can now pull off clothes pretty well. So for NOW, I'm going to APPRECIATE that!
Another thing I'm going to appreciate is the weather is changing. Yes, it's still hot in AZ, but it's starting to cool off at night - actually able to open up windows overnight a couple of times :D THAT really makes me happy! And you know what THAT means?? SOON it'll be hiking time! I can't wait... I SO love the Fall in AZ.

Okay... hmmm...Shaun T. HE is insane. AND I found out that I have non-existent abs - at least lower ones. Obliques are fine, I think...but wow... most of those ab moves I just couldn't do properly.

Boy you and Shawn really have a love -hate relationship don't you???? I'm telling you IF he was ugly.....you would have tossed in the trash a long time ago!!! Lol And 22% biddy fat??? That's awesome!!! 17%??? Your GONNA do it....I'm sure!!! Shoot but I'd be happy with 22%..... AND you sound so over the scale?!?!? GOOD GOOD!!!! There are way MORE ways of measuring.....I PERSONALLY find the "clothing" scale the most important......cuz we'll we have have to WEAR the house scale around all day!!! So going by clothes....and body fat?!?!? YOUR ARE doing fabulous. Please send ME your AZ heat when your done with it?!?!?! Then you can hike earlier!!!! Ha ha....although we've gotten two nice days....I'm not gonna complain!!!! So what's with the food?!?!?! YA FEEL IT TOO???? Okay so today we did lunch?!?!? I ordered a salad....LOADED with egg, bacon, olives.....I ate ALL the lettuce and TRIED to use judgement on the extras....pretty much left a bowl full of the "goodies". Husband ordered these LOADED NACHOS!!!! Ugh....I thought I can have ONE....oh two won't kill me? Three.....is THREE the deadly number??? UGH....HE SAID I barely ate any.... Ha ha. ANYWAY.....maybe this will stop my licking the tv when pizza hut commercials come on.....AND even tho I'm NOT Catholic....I'm feeling the need to find a Monday night confessional open!!! Ugh. Still had to fit in my MAGIC cereal for dinner though.....lmao!!!! Keep that super Dee doper mood going!!!!!! Miss LOW body fat!!!! :-)

Yep, Klannoye...some days I love him, others I HATE him. Guess which day today was? Yeah, the cute face (not to mention fabulous body) DOES make it slightly easier to tolerate his bossiness. And then I tell myself he only has my BEST interests at heart. When I'm not feeling bloated, I don't hate the scale. Still, I think I need some of your magic cereal...how the HELL does cereal fill you up enough?? See? I think I have an appetite problem. I don't like feeling uncomfortably full anymore, but I don't like that gnawing ache in the pit of my tummy, either. What do you mean, what's with the food? I got lost there... Cause I'm ALWAYS hungry? 'Splain it to me, girl. Did you do your mall walking? Did you get some new CLOTHES? Just don't tell me a new purse...I know how you LOVE them, but they really can't show off your ass, you know? Three, four nachos...think you'll survive! And you know...God is everywhere...you just DID confess! :D Still gotta write you...hungry now and needing to figure out dinner. Later...

Woo wee on the 17%. I'd kill to hit 22 right now too! You're much further ahead on this journey than I am so I'm going to appreciate my "view" from back here on the road lol. Have you tried smoothies for the hunger? I have a good one with skim milk, blueberries, and greek yogurt that's actually very nummy in my tummy. Hee hee. AND my kids like it...hello...it has to be good right? I make enough and freeze in plastic containers for a few day's worth and a few times a week get one out for that day. I can send you the recipe if you want it. LMK. And I can't wait for hiking/camping weather either! There is a nip in the air in the mornings here in IN but it was 87 this afternoon so too hot for a tent still. Also, I'm ready to sit at the table with you all...swear not to mention age. I'll bring Amaretto which is my favorite.

Thanks, Youngbug! I feel pretty good about the whole thing most of the time...but there are THOSE times when I'm so impatient, too. I love me a good smoothie - pass on the recipe please :) I LOVE greek yogurt, have it EVERY day, no kidding. So how does that work when you freeze it? Do you have to reblend it? Definitely let me know... We have to go up to the mountains to camp - anywhere between 5500' - 7500' to be able to escape the heat. It's getting a bit cooler up there, but still in the 80's for the most part. But it'll change in the next couple of weeks....I FEEL it. Your camping trip is coming up next month is it? And yeah...you can come sit with us. :) How do you drink your Amaretto? Straight up? Oh wait...you know... I better check with Klannoye and Ctlss to see if it's alright with them, too. I'm SURE they'll say yes!

Oh, absolutely she cam come and bring her amaretto, as long as she doesn't mention the A word!! lol.....I am bringing the absinthe!...You are doing fantatsic, D! 22% body fat, OMG, I just wish I could get there. I would be happy with 30% right now! lol.....I am like youngbug, ther, I am watching in awe from my spot at the rear of the pack!

Oh, come on, ctlss... you've lost 64 lbs! That's a HUGE accomplishment! You'll get where you want to be, there's no doubt about that one. And look at all you've learned through this process so far... it IS amazing. Pretty soon you'll be looking at 30% body fat and trying to decide if you want to go further or not. And that's nice that you don't mind if Youngbug joins us...think of ALL we can teach her :D (you know... from the perspective of our collective VAST experience!)

Yep, next month is the camping trip..can't wait! Amaretto over ice with a splash of oj and sweet and sour. I'll send you the smoothie recipe.

22%. That's amazing. You are so close to your goal. I looked up insanity after readying your journal and you go girl. It looks insane ;) Hiking is so much fun and I am glad you will be able to enjoy it soon. There is a lot of hiking here in NorCal as well. Have a great day!
