Had a busy day yesterday. I had a Clinical Practice Lab day, and had to get a drug screen done, and a student badge made. Had to drive an hour to, and an hour back.. eat on the run. BUT I packed my lunch, and my snack, all SBD compliant.. But I think my day's menu had too much fat packed into it. I had a total of 4 hard boiled eggs throughout the day, cashews for a snack, regular mayo included in breakfast.. AND I had a whole wheat slice of bread for b-fast..and Spanish rice for dinner.

Therefore, I showed a gain on the scale this morning.. Well, that, and a lack of exercise yesterday. I did end up walking a little bit on campus yesterday, but not enough to sustain a good exercise heart rate.

I exercised today.. but only did the ab workout (10 minutes).. I may take a walk this afternoon, with Owen in tow via the stroller. My body needs it, man. It's so cool how your body will tell you "hey stupid, get up and do something.." when you haven't worked out in a day or so. There are times during the day that I just HAVE to get up and do something. It just sucks that it's usually something I have to do EVERY SINGLE DAYYYY... (pick up toys, housework..).

It's like I've just gone into the daily slump..of the same things everyday. and I HATE that!

Plus, the frustration of being on a limited income is getting to me. oh, bother..

OH! I didn't even mention what happened Tuesday! My mom forgot to completely shut the deep freezer, therefore 95% of the meat and veggies in the stores are RUINED. So, I now have a LIMITED food source too.. I'm just glad that I did manage to buy a few turkey items and stored them in the small freezer, and a few fresh veggies for salads. Otherwise, I'd have to resort to..dun dun DUN.. BREADS. What was the bad thing about all this (not that ruined food isn't bad.) was that SHE blamed it on me...lol. Because I'm home all day, and didn't think to Go out into the garage and check on the darn thing.. Yeah, I'm going to just sporadicly check on the freezer door, when I only go out there like maybe 3 times a week, and leave my toddler son inside the house to cry and ransack the house. MMKAY.

Okay.. I'm breathing.. I'm breathing. I'm off to figure out what's for lunch, and to get my soon-to-be-up son's food figured out as well.

You're awesome! You have so much going on in your life that would defeat a lot of people, and yet you keep plugging away! I admire you a lot, and I'm going to send some good vibes out into the universe that things get easier, 'cause girl, you deserve it! BTW--did you check the freezer? (Just kidding?) How ridiculous--umm, yeah, you have nothing else to do during your day than check the freezer! Think you can work it into your exercise plan?
