My mom said something to me this morning that just put a little oomph into my day, and my confidence. I was washing a sippy for Owen's morning milk and she says to me "I can tell you're losing honey." I've been waiting for what seems like forever to hear from someone in the family. It's nice to hear something like that after working hard, and being frustrated.

Okay, so I have to confess... I've been eating pretty well today.. but I snuck in a couple of pieces of Pecan brittle..homemade pecan brittle. I couldn't help it.. but I think everything else I ate today helped counter it. AND since it IS saturday, and I wasn't originally going to workout, I ended up doing a 10 minute tummy trimmer AND going for a 30 minute 1.5 mile walk today. My body was craving the exercise. It's like I get ALL achy if I don't do something and this morning I was REALLY achy in my legs and upper body. I think struggling with Owen for 2-3 hours to get him to nap this morning helped add on a little stress..

I'm rather excited about the challenges I joined. I think just getting ready for them, by getting myself into some sort spiced up routine is going to help me stay motivated.. well, that, and I wanna feel better going into the holiday season.

Mmmm.. I can smell that Grilled Beer Chicken cooking. Can't wait for dinner.
