ugh...I'm here...sore as hell, too. Thanks SHAUN T aka Satan (666). And to think I actually LIKED the guy in the beginning...lol...

Okay, I've stalled and stalled. I'm sore, strangely enough, in my lats and triceps...I SO wish it were the hamstrings where I really need the work. Oh well...so I'm going to go mummy up (bandage EVERY sore body part I can...might skip the lats as it may be hard to BREATH that way!) and go see how Shaun T is doing today. Or rather, what evil plan he has in store for my body (and psyche) today...

I was asleep before 10:00pm last night, actually IN bed before 9:30. Presumably to read, but I told my husband I'd just read with my eyes closed for a while. I felt like I used to feel when we'd hike for 12 or more miles in the rugged, rocky desert. Spent. Noodle-like...nothing left inside to hold me together, much less hold me up. Exaggeration? NOPE. Not at all. And I will seriously have a throw-down with anyone who chooses to tell me differently! lol...

stall...stall...stall....

Not working...okay, today is Day 35 of Insanity and it's Max Interval Plyometrics...ooohhh, boy....sounds like a ton of fun! Can't wait.... I'll post later if I can. I'm using my heart monitor today, though.

later...I did it and although I didn't come close to being able to do all of each exercise in each circuit, I didn't give up and although I'm tired - I definitely feel better than after yesterday's workout. And burned probably close to 400 calories, too. SO glad it's over for the day!

I hope you make it through that Insanity workout. I don't know if I'd have the guts for quite a long time to even attempt something like that. You are my hero to keep doing it.

OH MY WORD, and I am complaining about Slim in 6?????? You are the woman!! Great job! I am never going to work out with Shaun T...he sounds way to tough for me. I like the easy, gentle souls! When someone gets tooo tough, I tune out! And I will not cross a woman who will wrap her injuries in order to work out! Good luck with your workout today, and glad that you got some good sleep!

And do you wear a cape too Superwoman RWL?? And here I thought Zumba was tough. Geesh! I hope you work out all that soreness and become less noodle-like. :) Have a great weekend!

ctlss - Slim in 6 isn't easy...but she doesn't make you feel like you're gonna die by the end of it. And (with my workout for the day now behind me)...maybe Shaun T ISN'T so bad?? He means well, anyway... LOL ... you make me laugh. Actually, my daughter is finally "afraid" to cross me! :D Sleep helped, that's for sure. Thanks "S"

And, why, YES, missy youngbug... I DO, INDEED, wear a SuperWOMAN cape :D And from what I've heard, Zumba can be pretty tough, too. But possibly more "fun"? Not so noodle-like right now...even vacuumed right after, need to shower and hit Costco...get ready for brother's visit! :) MUST be feeling better than after yesterday's workout!

D, the workout you are describing sounds like something from a midievel torture chamber! God help me I can hear it calling my name! But I am ignoring it.

The word Max scares me. The last few days my calves are on fire at night. Glad to hear you are surviving them!

ctlss...It's probably more like boot camp with a sadistic sargeant. I'd ignore it as long as you can :) cause once you heed the call, there's no turning back! lol...

yeah, Jill. the max part IS the scary part. A lot of the same types of moves with a bit of variation for some of them, but full on for 45 seconds to a minute each move. And the workout is longer, about an hour. You wouldn't think an extra 12 min. or so would be that much more difficult, but.... well...you've got YOUTH on your side! :D You'll do just fine (he he he.... Oh, sorry, I think Shaun T's sadistic side is rubbing off)

I can barely make the 42 minutes or whatever each video is some days. At times I find my self staring at the clock praying for it to be over while I am laying on the ground.

WOW this sleeping thing....and YOUR later posts....IM always the last one NOW to comment. HUMP!!!! Your Mummy wraps cause such a "vision" in my head. Please post a photo one day for US all to enjoy? :-) Im not sure on your future job selling Shawns videos....One day I REALLY want to meet him.....the next you make me fear HIM. lmao! I did SEE him.....he's NICE to look at, for sure....BUT hmmm leery about what he has to say. YOUR determination is really THERE....and inspires a lot of us. AND your threat of the "throw down" ( not sure if it was sweet RWL speaking or Shawn himself) has US all scared enough to behave......lol. i promise!!!! :-) Can't wait for your fun weekend....lucky dawg!!!

You so make me scary bad want to work out...Great job as always. I bought some new DVDs one is for abs so I can do that now the others have to wait for my recovery. I walked a bit today but not long.
