I tried on a new pair of size 20W 100% cotton (no stretch) jean shorts today and they fit perfect! I used to be a size 24W. I also fit into misses size 18 jeans. This is great!

Just before starting the Atkins Diet, I thought about how I would be in a size 26/28 soon and how I will never diet again. It made me sad to think that I was big and would just keep getting bigger and it was out of my control. I didn't want to make my weight problem worse by slowing my metabolism through dieting. But the Atkins Diet doesn't count calories, so my metabolism won't slow! Therefore, I just needed to find a diet plan that worked for me.

I'm happy, even on weeks when I don't lose any weight. I'm patient for the next week when I'll probably lose. I don't know how patient I'll be if I reach a plateau though. I'll have to deal with that if and when the time comes.
