I think I am off to a good start. I had a breakfast burrito. I know that was probably not the best, but I took some medicine on an empty stomach. It was making me so sick that I just got something quick. However, it was not the best choice. For lunch I ate an angus hot dog without the bun. Then some carrots. I have drank 4 bottles of water. I need to make sure to log those in the food journal. I keep forgetting my water intake, but not my food intake.
I will weigh in the morning. I am looking for at least a pound loss. I hope to get to Zumba tonight, but the weather looks like it might stop that. I will keep my fingers crossed.

I am tired of others judging those who lose weight. I just wish if you don't like my diet or eating and can't say something influencing or nice, then don't read my journal. I want people to be positive. I think you can be positive and uplifting without getting ugly about it. I know my downfalls. That is what I hope to work on with this journaling.

i just read that thread in that journaling challenge. yeah i failed that challenge cuz i did bad this weekend and am not going to really record all of it. but don't let any of that get to you...or anyone else. best of luck with everything! if you recognize bad food choices than that is good. hope you get the weight loss you're looking for tomorrow!

Thanks. I appreciate your comment. I am trying to find a routine that this becomes a habit and not having to remember all the time. Sort of like brushing your teeth. You just do it. Good luck on your weight loss journey too.

It can be difficult to start a new routine. You will get it down tho. I'll tell you what I do and maybe you will find it helpful. Instead of trying to remember to log what I have eaten, I kill 2 birds with one stone. I plan my meal plans including snacks a day ahead according to my schedule for that day. If I make changes, I only have to remember to change that. That way, I plan very healthy meals and snacks and I am sure that I stay within my limits. If I change something, I have a pretty good idea what it will do to my day. I am also prepared with healthy snacks instead of grabbing something that would not be as healthy. Since you are just starting your loggin habit, it would be a good time to try it. It works so well for me, but I am a planner. Also, when I buy groceries, I kind of watch the grocery ads for the healthy foods that I like. Shopping once a week I kind of have a plan for the week, just not as detailed as my plan ends up. So I hit the sale items and save money, stock up on healthy foods and have great meal plans. So maybe that is more than 2 birds. ; ) Lots of luck on your weightloss! Looks like you already have good exercise time planned. Good for you!

If you have to eat at fast food places a lot, you might want to get the book "Eat this, not that!" It shows some of the ways to cut down by ordering a slightly different menu choice. They have a website too. http://eatthis.menshealth.com/home
