hey Geraldine - looked over your calendar, food logs, etc. and here's what I can come up with. One, you are not fully logging everything from day to day. Really hard to see any oversights or issues that way. Along w/ being high in sodium, remember too much cheese can cause problems in some. Maybe you are part of that some. Bkfst does not appear to be your biggest Carb meal. Snacks seems to be absent from your recordings. Are you eating salad, or veggies on a daily basis? The processed meats (lunch meats/hot dogs) have got to go!! HUGE sodium culprits. Increase your water, daily for 2-3 straight days...every hour or so have an 8 oz glass of water, and your body should release the unneeded retained fluid. I honestly don't think you are eating enough, at the frequent intervals to keep your body humming, or with enough proteins (stave off hunger/cravings), fats, or healthy fresh carbs. Hope this helps. Do some meal planning / daily intake planning in advance. Select your meals and snacks ahead of time. Enter everything into your calendar to see how the numbers stack up - and then Eat according to what you just planned out. shoot for 1500 calories. Try to make your protein slightly over, or slightly under your fat percentages...even alternating one day fat higher, one day protein higher - all the while keep your CARBS in check. Be mindful about every single food selection. How does it contribute overall to the entire day's plan? If it throws everything off...save it for the next day and fill the snacks, or other selections with things that will work. You can do this. You have the head knowledge and the skills to do this. You just did this on your own while away! Great to have such a wonderful daughter to help you...but no more crutches in that dept., you got this girl! Make it happen, for YOU!!!
