So I now remember why Atkins is so hard... It's because when you fall off, its really really tough getting back on track. The cravings that I could brush off a few months ago are full force now. I can't say no... I can't even stay on this way of eating for a week with out getting off track. I'm trying to go back to induction (with the exception of nuts) and it is hard! Really really hard ya'll. Ugh. Starting over again today... please let my will power stay strong. I really do want this so badly!

I fell off the wagon too several months ago and are just getting back on track. My pastor has lost a lot of weight eating low carb (not specifically atkins) and he told me that he used to be like me with weightloss - all or nothing. He and his wife committed to this for a year, no matter what. The difference was this time, he allowed himself 1 day off a week (I know this is TOTALLY against atkins). It gave him something to look forward to on the tough days, and he didn't have the guilt of eating "forbidden food." Yes it made the day after a little tougher(be VERY strict this day), but he could resist because if he really wanted it, he could have it the next day off. Of course this slowed he weight loss a little but he still lost 60lbs in 6 months (much smaller than me) and has been maintaining it since. Anyway, I've been trying it this way for the last 3 weeks and have still lost 20lbs. Again I know this totally goes against atkins, but just something to think about.
