Being honest I am not dealing well with things right now.
A friend pointed out to me that I am grieving. Maybe he is right.

Grateful for:
Family
A few good friends
Good books
Fs
Ability to reflect

Awww Pam2 - To grieve healthily is a good thing and a definite must to be able to move on in the future. Keep journalling what you are feeling....it helps sometimes when things are not clear in the head :)

I'm sorry Pam. You're allowed to grieve, the sooner you get it out, literally and figuratively the better you'll feel, but take your time and work it out however you need to. Rest for now, let your body do what it needs then get up and kick some ass later. We all go through this at least once. I've been laid off 2 times and fired once, myself. It happens and it ain't easy, but eventually we reach the final choice, which is to pick up the pieces and start over again. Big hugs, let me know if you need anything. :)

Yes - you lkely are grieving the loss of your job - the routine, the freinds you may have made, the sitation. You will get thrugh it to a place of comfort and acceptance. I like what QuirkyNat says, "rest now and kick some ass later!"
