geo99's Journal, 07 June 2010

Had a great day yesterday. Ended up drinking a lot, eating a lot but had a wonderful time. Started the day with a couple of beer (had to finish off what was left in the hotel room). Went home and sat around outside on the deck and drank and ate. Made up my mind that it just didn't matter, so ended up having a great time. Was just going to enter 5000 cal for the day, but ended up actually entering what I consumed and it was only 3000 (more than twice what I normally eat). So today, it's back at it. Water, proper food and a little extra exercise. I wonder if this is what I needed to re-start my loss. I may have been a little too low on calories, so we will see. I am going to weigh myself tomorrow(just to see, not to record) to see what the damage was, But the way I mentally feel today makes it all worth it anyway. I am not quitting or even slowing down, I just needed a break. Have a great week everyone.

Sometimes it takes a change to shake-up the metabolism. It's good that you are getting right back on track. I think that is helping me as well. Glad to hear you had a great weekend. We deserve those every now and then.

I took a free day yesterday. I have been wanting the grilled chicken from the chinese place but I always ending up eating alot of fried crap with it too. Then you can't forget about the ice cream haha. Today it is back on track time =).

Hi, I think we all need a break once in a while, but the trick is getting back on track and it sounds like you did. Congratulations!! Sometimes we think that once we blow it, its over. Not true, we all have celebrations that we are required and/or want to attend. Just do it and get back on the best food plan for you. Keep on going on!!
