Going camping in a bit and all loaded up except for the food and ice. Back on Monday, which means I BETTER go get a workout in now. I should have time for that and finish getting ready by the time I have to pick my husband up from work. I'm worried, as high winds are forecast. I've been camping with trees falling all around us and it's not fun. At least now I know to drive away to a clearing. And if it's a red flag warning - no campfires. Kind of defeats the purpose of camping out in some ways. We'll see what happens. And I hope we hike a lot to burn off the beer we're taking : )

I'm sure you guys are going to burn off a ton of calories! Just walking around when you're camping is going to burn more than normal because of the terrain, so even setting up camp is going to help you burn. Wow though - kinda scary about the high winds, you know, I don't tent camp much (I'm a cabin person, my parents had a cabin when I was growing up, so that's what I'm accustomed to doing, lol), but I've never even thought about that issue! I hope you guys can find a nice place to camp where if you HAVE to escape you can do it quickly! But I am sure the weather will pan out for ya!! Same for the fire too! ----------------------------- I have had such a stressful day I can't even begin to tell you, I'll have to post if while you're away so I can write a novel for you to read when you get back, lol... but anyway, we're going to look at a bunch of houses today again, still dealing with this unreasonable owner of the fixer-upper house (I don't even know if I want it anymore, part of me wants to pay the extra couple grand for a NICE house that I don't have to do work on), I've got fish in tanks at school that need to be cared for every day now, trying to still be involved with friends from school and participate in stuff, but man. Tomorrow I've got to be up at 6am, and usually, I go to bed at 3am. I'll be working pulling weeds out of ponds by hand in the 90 degree weather, and then after that I need to sit around for like an hour and a half in a hot smelly lab and do water quality testing. THEN I'm sure people will be fishing, and of course I want to fish (I love snuggling fishies!)... BLAH! I need to go to bed tonight at like 11! Or 10! lol But we're also having this movie night tonight and it's like 15 people from school and that'll be at least 3-5 hours, because of the movie, socializing and eating. I know I'm gonna be dead tired tomorrow - I'm not looking forward to it. --------------------------------- I hope you have a WONDERFUL time on your camping trip and I will talk to you when you get back!! *hugs*

Write me a novel, woman! : ) I love hearing from you, you always cheer me up. But so sorry to hear what a stressful time you're having there. Just looking for a home is one helluva stress, add that to everything else you've got going on and... well, I'm glad I'm me this weekend : ) Good Lord, 90 degrees and is it humid, too? I mean, it's 90 here, but dry, so it's just like walking into an oven. _____________________You keep hours like my son! : ) I've been getting up around 6:00 or so recently... _______________________ Just checked and no fire restrictions. Can't think the winds will be that high. I hope not! Yikes!!! I'm running late, gotta go. I'll try to touch base over the weekend. Oh hey, I think the thyroid meds might be kicking in. I'm down more today : ) Shit, it's about time! Take care - stay cool, <3

Yea! for being down on the scale - I wish I was going hiking but I probably wouldn't have as much fun because I don't drink beer...Have fun!

No beer required for hiking fun : ) It's just a nice, cold "reward" when I'm finished.
