So it doesn't matter if I eat 20 carbs a day and watch my calories, or if I eat 35 carbs a day and don't worry about my calories.

I will loose 5-6 #s a month, every month.

It is a great thing, but also frustrating since I'm still so far from goal. I'd like to be at goal NOW.

But then what? Am I going to change how I'm eating? No.
So for now, I'll keep doing what I'm doing and practice patience.

As of today have lost exactly 85#s.

Nice job Denise. You'll get there :) Patience is so hard. But there's no point in impatience. I always tell myself, you can control what you eat and the exercise you do, but you can't control the scale. So focus on the things you can control, accept the things you can't, and just stick with it. Which obviously you're doing :)

Thanks guys! Little by little I'm getting there. The benefit to the slower loss is it is less likely that I'll have loads of "leftover" skin. (I was 300#s when I started). I'm just human...and HATE having to wait.
