Yesterday was a "black day". Just down about everything. Only good thing was that I stuck to exactly 24 points and drank all my water. But of course, I am STILL not down, not even an ounce today. I am getting very frustrated. My gym membership is up for renewal and I'm seriously considering not renewing it. It's not doing me any good, except maybe to help me stay the SAME weight, which I can probably do by exercising around home and walking now that the weather is starting to break. BLAH.

Sounds like it's time to re-evaluate! What you are doing isn't working for you so shake it up a bit. Are you certain you are 100% accurate counting your points? If so, then maybe try a week with 3 or 4 less points per day and see where that takes you. Everybody's body is different and sometimes we need to eat less than what they say to lose. I was stalled for two weeks and decided to drop to 20 points Monday through Thursday and back up to normal or higher on Friday through Sunday. It's ok to give up the gym if it isn't inspiring you to keep going. Just make sure you don't lose motivation to get active at home. I know how frustrating this all can be and I have given up in the past on more than one occasion. Let your frustration spur you on to try harder and refuse to let yourself be defeated! You can do this! Hang in there, change things up, keep moving and it will happen.

Make sure if you don't renew your gym membership, you continue to exercise!!! You might be turning fat to muscle, making you think your hard work is for nothing. Make sure you are honest with yourself. Not saying this of you, but sometimes people think that they are giving it their all, but really deep down they know they could try harder. Maybe you could ask a friend to walk with you daily, that way you will make each other go. I like to take my dog for walks, that way she isn't dying for attention all night long! Maybe you could try to cut down to 23 points a day. Remember that it won't happen over night and exercise is good for your heart, not just good for weight lose. Do it for your health and a long life! Good luck! Don't give up!

Maybe you should aim for losing weight in ten pound increments. This might help you to notice progress sooner, and give yourself reasonable goals.

First thing you should look at is "are you being 100% faithful to counting your points?" Are you drinking you water and getting in all your fruits and veggies? How about your dairy? If you are eating the same foods, change what you are eating. Upping your protein, eat 5 or 6 smaller meals throughout the day, instead of 3. It can help keep your metabolism burning more. Don't give up the exercise! Try changing up the exercise. Do the eliptical one day, bike another. Up the intensity of your exercise. Take your measurements. I know someone who didn't lose for months but went down 4 sizes. Keep your spirits up!
