I was thinking a few days ago how can someone over eat and eat all the bad stuff when you are trying to eat healthy. I was doing so good for quite a while but then the munchies got a hold of me and i find it was soooooooo easy to be bad. :( Wonder why we have this very bad addiction? and it isnt just to taste i have to eat it all. :( Hopefully after this weekend I can get back on track. :)

I feel the same way - 99% of the time I'm good. Its the other 1% that kicks my butt!!!

Don't let a couple of slips turn into a downward spiral. I think that is what gets us in trouble. We don't have to make healthy choice ALL the time - shoot for 80% of the time and don't get stuck in the all or nothing diet trap. Strive to eat healthy most of the time and then enjoy and savor the occasional treat. Focus on foods that you like and are nutritions. One of the things I have learned at this site is the 50,30,20 rule. 50% of your calories should come from carbs, 30% from protein, and only 20% from fat. I feel the best when I keep my nutrients in balance. See if that helps you to feel full and satisfied.
