Finally feeling clear headed again. Good work out - did the Level 1 cardio max (and I just broke the letter c on laptop!) and then Jillian's No More Trouble Zones, so about an hour and 10 min. work out. I'm still not sure, but I think doing the cardio portion first helps me burn more calories for the rest of the work out.

Doctor appointment tomorrow. I'm already nervous - I hate seeing doctors and avoid at all costs. And this one is a naturopathic physician, so shouldn't be as ... intimidating? Guess part of it is also my long-standing thought that my issue with losing weight over the last five or six years must be due to some kind of imbalance and I may find out there is none and have to own the whole thing!

I hear ya about doctors, I hate going to see them... They always say be open with your doctor, etc... but, man I just don't enjoy revealing things about myself or whatever (my physical problems, basically) to someone... I hope everything will go smoothly tomorrow! I will be thinkin' about ya!

Thanks, L. Yeah, I don't like talking about what's wrong and I hate the idea of an exam, feeling the way I do about myself. Ah...let's face it - I'm just a big chicken. : )

Doctors? Who are they? [still ignoring the script for The Annual boob exam from last year]. Aren't Naturopathics are about overall health without intrusion? I'm a bit of a cynic re. homoeopathy despite my shoulder problem being significantly improved through acupuncture. Oh, and there was my BF in Edinburgh had her allergic reaction to quinine (as in a primary ingredient in tonic with gin!) being fixed through her doctor correcting a mineral deficiency; he was a real Doctor with a side interest in naturopathy. Okay, I'm a sceptical convert who says go for it, with a big spoon of salt, especially if their recommended solution requires lotsa moola and a bizarre diet.
