Well, the laundry thieves struck again. I decided I was going to sit in the laundry room (which is what my dog is standing in front of in the photo) while the clothes dried. Not while washing, because who steals wet clothes? This time, they took my winter pajamas out of the washer. Still wet even. They must really be desperate for warm bedroom stuff since that's what they are taking. Luckily, these were fairly easy to replace. I got some Lane Bryant gift cards for Christmas and they had a sale where the sleepwear was 60% off. So I found the last 2 piece set in my size and I bought an extra shirt, since the one that came with it wasn't thick enough for me. So about $15 to replace. I'm almost tempted to put a note up saying come see me for money to buy you stuff or have the office sponsor a clothing drive since I'm tired of replacing stolen items. Grrrrr. I so hope they get what's coming to them. I don't have the extra cash to keep replacing stuff. I'm lucky the pj's were on sale and pretty cheap. The sheets that I bought to replace the stolen ones are running me $40. While I was sitting in there, 2 more people came in to do laundry and they left while their clothes were washing. So I'm sure more people are going to have problems. I told managment so they know what's going on. Even though they can't do anything about it.

Ok, to make this weight loss related, I think I did ok during Christmas. I did pig out on ham and green beans on Christmas Eve. Mmmm, fresh grean beans. During Christmas Day, I did have about a handful of potato chips and a small croissant with dinner. We had steak and my aunt made some sweet potatoes with splenda. Man, they were good. So I had that and some spinach salad with raspberry vinegarette. Last night, I had 2 ham and reduced fat grilled cheese sandwiches. My bread is high in fiber though so hopefully it was ok. We'll see when the weigh in comes. I'm sorely lacking in the exercise dept this week. I worked 12 hours on Monday and spent Christmas at my Mom's house. I'm hoping to get on my Leg Magic today and the rest of the week. I need to.

Only half a pound this week. I was pretty bad with the sugar. We've been having some pretty cool mornings and I had some hot chocolate. Well, since I had no cash until payday, I was drinking what I had in my cupboard. It was the normal stuff with more sugar than I should have. So I knew it was going to be a bad week. We also had a potluck at work and I was falling asleep in the afternoon. So I had to have a cupcake to wake me up. At least it did wake me up. I went to the movies with a friend and we had Jack in the box for lunch. Thought I was doing ok by getting the chicken ciabatta and eating only half the bun. I looked at the nutrional info later in the day and saw that even though the chicken was grilled, it wasn't that great. I should have had the chicken pita. Oh well. I'm not going to sit here and get down on myself over it. I'm still doing well towards meeting my goal of 30 pounds lost by the end of the year. I'm only 1.5 away. I also felt I lost my inches in my waist this week only to find out it was only 1 inch. I noticed my new jeans are much looser.

Well I was bad and gave in to some cravings this week. I almost hate Pizza Hut for sending me emails with new pizza offers. I usually order online so they send them to me. I gave in and ordered a pizza last night. I tried to make it beachy by ordering a thin crust cheese with chicken toppings. Well it wasn't as good as the pan, but it helped with the craving. I also bought a piece of cake from the grocery bakery. Just a simple white cake with buttercream frosting. I did notice that it got too sugary much sooner than it used to. So I think the diet has helped with how much sugar I can intake at one time. So I lost 1.5 pounds this week. Actually, reading that doesn't seem too bad. I thought I had lost only half a pound until looking at my weigh in history. Still, I guess I should have waited until today so I could have all week to make up for it. And now I've got half a pizza in the fridge that I can't bring myself to throw out, so guess what I'm eating for lunch. I'll be good and stay on track this week. I figured I had to give in again. I've been doing really well and I'm still on track to loose 30 pounds by the end of the year. I'm only 3.5 pounds away.
On the plus side, I did manage to loose 2 more inches in both my waist and hips. I was able to fit into some new smaller size 18 jeans I bought from Lane Bryant a couple weeks ago. I couldn't even zipper them up and now they fit. I've only tried on one pair out of the 4 I bought. But I'm hoping this is a good sign.
