It's been a while since I last journaled or weighed in on FS. Still maintaining and training, and of course, working all the time. It's a welder's life.

Just wanted to check in and let everyone know that, yes, I am still alive and still at it. Work has been crazy hectic and busy (life of a welder), but I am still holding myself accountable to eating healthier (lots of wekend meal prep) and burning extra calories any way I can: either at the gym or doing body weight workouts at home and sometimes even at work. You can do burpees, body squats, and push-ups anywhere. lol.

Happy New Year, FS Family. Gained a little more weight over the holidays than I wanted, but not overly disappointed, and the weight gain is nothing that I won't be able to shed off quickly . I enjoyed my extended staycation from work (a much needed break), loved spending extra time visiting with family, and definitely enjoyed indulging in my mom's cooking. She doesn't cook the healthiest of meals, but each dish and all her delighful baked goods and sweets are definitely created with love. I am looking forward to what 2024 will bring me. I'm off to Planet Fitness right now to start the year off right. Hopefully, it won't be too busy. Blessings to all of you as we start the journey of 2024

Back to it after the holidays. Using my time off of work to hit the Planet in the early a.m. Love having thw whole gym to myself.
