Hard week.

I weighed in at a +2 yesterday and was really down.

This past week was my week for retaining water and having the urge to eat everything in the fridge. I understand that the fluctuation is normal and that by tomorrow I should feel back to normal, and hopefully see a difference on the scale at the next meeting. I didn't stop working out, I worked out harder and longer...I am up to 50 mins on the Treadmill and 2 mins on the stationary bike.

After my workout, I felt a little bit better...the workout brings my motivation back. I want results on the scale but have noticed a bit of change in the way my clothes fit but I am sure that once I hit 10 pounds and beyond, the real changes will be felt.

My goal for this week is to ensure I eat breakfast EVERY day and drink my 6+ glasses of water. The breakfast thing has been a real challenge but I know that I actually do feel better and have more energy for the day when I eat it.

So...I gained 2 pounds, but also gained some perspective.

Happy Weekend everyone!

Well I got through the long-weekend without incident. I thought FOR SURE I would fall off the wagon and want fast food. Something amaZing happened instead, I actually enjoyed cooking at home. I had company in the kitchen and we made meals that were low in points and high in protein.

Overall, I really enjoyed all the food I ate this weekend. My body must be in shock over how much I am consuming in the way of fruits and veggies and whole foods...I just hope that eating right, coupled with a weekend full of treadmill workouts will reflect at weigh in on Thursday. We'll see.

I am taking tonight off and then will work out again in the morning tomorrow before breakfast. I am enjoying the energy that the morning workout gives me for the day. I am not a morning person so finding out that working out in the morning can help jump start my day, was a big revelation.

Back to work tomorrow, back to the weekday schedule. I am getting more and more used to eating on a schedule and making sure I eat within the food pyramid appropriately. Wish me luck, I am moving into week 4 of this change of lifestyle. Thanks to all my buddies here online, and at work for the support that really gets me through..you all rock!

Big shout-out to my WW buddy lisamac. Without her, this would be much harder.

I am really glad that I officially weigh in only once per week.

Sometimes being a woman is hard on the scale. I have Endometriosis and it makes this time of the month particularly rough weight wise. I fluctuate from morning to night and bloat up like a balloon. I want to eat everything in sight and no matter how yummy the dinner, I am always ready for a snack shortly there-after. Fortunately, I have broken these habits during the remaining part of the month...I can't control my mood or my ability to hold back eating at this time of the month....and sometimes what I say or do, but that is another story, LOL.

Like I said, I am thankful for only one official weigh in a week....I'm not eating poor items though, I am making wise, healthy food choices, just not holding back I guess eating has always been comfort food so needing comfort with so much pain, I turn to food....such bad habits to break.

At any rate, this part of the month slows everything down, I have no energy to workout and can barely stand up straight so it is a real challenge to achieve and maintain normal tasks, let alone do a workout.

Usually after a few days of feeling lethargic and grumpy, I seem to be able to do simple things like do my own dishes or stand for more than 5 minutes at a time. It can be a huge toll that my poor body is taking just trying to adjust to all of the foods that I have added to my menu. I think it may be in shock.

Oh well, one weigh in a week and I can do it.
Have a wonderful weekend to all!
