Well here I am again gaining and losing the same 2 lbs. Lost it and today it found me again. It's my own fault too. Had pizza and a Reeces peanut butter cup the last two days and the scale goes up!! Sigh! I'll go running this morning and really watch what I eat and hope the scale goes back down.. Just wish I could make it go down lower than the same 2 lbs I lose and gain.
So if it is water weight from too many carbs as some people told me before, if I drink lots of water today will that help to get rid of the water weight??? Will that wash it out??? I will have to try increasing my water intake, even tho I drink lots of water daily.

The good news is I did not make kettle corn today(I LOVE KETTLE CORN!!). It has been a bad Sunday habit for too long. It helps that it is getting nicer outside, and the fact that I had to go pull out my husband after he got his pickup stuck. Got me outside at least.

Back down to 146, up two down two, can't seem to go under that mark right now. Now to get everything under control and go lower. Gonna be really hard because the FFA kids have Krispy Kreme donuts coming in today and my husband ordered quite a few for us. I am taking some to my Mom and brother tmrw so that will help. They freeze really well so I plan to put most of them in the freezer.
Well the Krispy Kreme arrived and I ate 3 donuts! Just had a protein shake for supper. trying to stop the sugar madness.

Sorry people, I was having a MAJOR pity party yesterday. I actually forgot I changed my settings from private to everyone. Your comments were appreciated. A little background on myself, I lost 30lbs. about 2 1/2 years ago by doing Xyngular and going low carb. The only time in my 55 years that something worked to lose weight. I have never been a yoyo dieter, but I have been a yoyo exerciser. Since last summer I have been very slowly gaining weight back, which I am pretty sure is a menopause thing, I have gained 10 lbs. back and I am really struggling to lose it again. I am very active, I have been consistently running for about 2 years now I live on a ranch and love doing woodworking so I don't sit very often.
I did learn something from the comments yesterday that lots of carbs make you hold onto water. (I am a huge water drinker so that is not a problem.) I do like the low carb because I learned that carbs and sugar(I am a chocoholic) make me seriously crave more, cravings were ALWAYS my biggest problem.
I have some friends that have talked me into doing a relay marathon this summer so I have been very slowly increasing my mileage (about a tenth) one day a week, the rest of the week I try to do a consistent 3 miles each day.
My biggest problem is how to deal with menopause interfering with weight loss, I know it does from everything I have read, what I have read does not address how to lose weight during it. Sometimes I ramble and I am not sure if I make sense to anyone but myself, so sorry if this doesn't make sense to you!! Makes lots of sense in my mind! LOL LOL

I went way over my carbs yesterday, hit 148 carbs., calories were 1700, which I was trying to up anyway since I am running more. Guess what.....gained 2 lbs.! Par for the course for me. One bad day and I easily gain 2 lbs. never mind the fact that I ran 5 miles yesterday. I wish I had someone to tell me how to correct this, being 55 and headed to menopause has really played havoc with my metabolism I guess. I just want someone to tell me how to correct it. Someone who is my age or older who has gone through this and KNOWS what they are talking about, not someone who does the research and THINKS they know how to correct it. If anyone tells you that exercise will make you lose weight call them a big fat LIAR! So not true! Exercise will tone you up and make you feel better but will DEFINITELY NOT make you lose weight!
Sincerely
FRUSTRATED beyond words
