At the moment, my goal is set to lose 70lbs by Halloween. (Only 137 days/19 weeks left! Geesh!) Steep, I know, but three years ago, I lost 43lbs in 2 months, so I'm pretty confident that I can pull it off. I have a great plan that I know will work, I just have to buckle down and stick to it.
Most of my weight is mainly water, which will be easy to drop once I get back in the swing of drinking water like I'm supposed to. My boyfriend likes to have sweet tea around, so I keep it made for him, but I always end up drinking it. Sweet tea and salt are 2 of my biggest weaknesses. Seriously. I salt my food like an 80 year old with no taste buds left, and I've been drinking sweet tea since Moma put it in my baby bottle.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna try to down the full gallon of water that I said that I would drink daily and I'm gonna try not to touch the salt shaker. I wonder what will happen if I do that for a solid week??
I think I will make that my personal challenge next week - At least one full gallon of water everyday and absolutely NO salt. This will be hard...Any suggestions??? I'm all ears.

Well, today was awful from the word 'go'. First, my alarm clock didn't go off, so I didn't get up and go walking. Then, after a series of mini-disasters (dropping the tray to the high chair on my toe, my dog drinking my breakfast, bruising my ankle while swimming, etc), I decided to give up. The only thing that I did today that would be considered productive towards my diet is drink water. I'm going to bed now in hopes that tomorrow will be better.

I don't know how I pulled this off, but I've lost another pound. I figured I had put on the 3 that I lost, so this was a pleasant surprise. :)
