Why is it that every time I'm TRYING to eat properly, I end up finding all kinds of (yummy) crap to eat? (Usually put in front of me by someone else LOL) ...I bought these special cookies to take the edge off the sweets craving but of course if you've ever heard that potato chip commercial "betcha can't eat just one", you'll know how well that is working. Although - better that I eat those than a chocolate bar or candy, etc., right?
SO I'm gonna keep trying. Bought Bri some yoga pants today so... maybe I can convince her to do yoga with me. I have trouble getting her to calm down, is the problem. We'll see. I gotta start exercising again, and get ready for these challenges I've joined.

I decided that since I don't like water, and therefore have a lot of trouble drinking water once a day, let alone 8x a day... that I would try starting a challenge and getting other people to join me and try and work up to it gradually. That way I have someone (or several someones) to be held accountable to, and others to support, which gives me a good reason to do it myself. So if you're reading this... go join my challenge and let's do this! Even if you already drink SOME water but not your 8 glasses, come join in, and you'll breeze through the first few mini-challenges. lol.

Ok so what I want to say is going in my other journal.
But... I will say here... that I'm feeling really unmotivated even though there is a huge part of me that truly wants to do this. I think that yoga was helping but I think I need a place.
Went out to the country for a few days and felt amazing. Came back and felt lethargic again. So... I dunno. We'll see what happens now that I'm keeping track again.

So my eating today is not so great. Didn't eat breakfast at all... that quiche for lunch I suppose was OK but... couldn't resist timmie's on the way home. I did make sure to get myself a cran-blue-bran muffin instead of a donut though... I need my fiber and those are worth 5g of it. I got the Timbits for the kids as a treat. Anyway... my next things "to do" are to start drinking water again, even though I hate it... and to start doing some yoga again.

Today is a blah day... and we need to go grocery shopping, which we can't do til Tues, so I'm not sure how well my healthy diet is gonna do up until then. But I'm going to try not to eat too much crap nonetheless. We'll see. The hot dogs went without buns or cheese... dinner'll be leftover pasta and chicken parm from Montana's last night. Maybe tomorrow I'll see if I've got the ingredients for any of the recipes on here.
