i started out trying to lose weight while my husband was deployed. i didn't want him to come home and see me the way i was when he left. when i gave birth i was 220lbs, and i lost about 30lbs in the first six weeks. it was going great until i got on birth control (my weight loss enemy!!) and went back up to 198 and then just stayed there. my husband has the worst eating habits, and i found myself just falling in with him. while he was gone i picked up healthier habits, but not all that many, if i'm honest. i eat more veggies, and slightly smaller portions, but i still eat a lot of food.

i put a number for my goal, but i'm not sure that's what i want my goal to be... i want to be happy in my skin, regardless of weight. i know before i had my son, i was 160-165, and i looked GREAT. i was curvy with a fairly flat belly, and i felt awesome. i want to go back to that feeling, but i think my hips may be wider after having my son. so i'll see!



mini goals:
be under 190lbs by trip to disney world (8/27/2010): COMPLETE! 08/22/2010
hit 180 before halloween: complete, but not in 2010 like i'd have liked! (7/16/2011)
hit 170 before december: in progress for 2011...
