Hope a good thanksgiving weekend for everyone. Mine was so good to see family. With everyone's busy schedules it's hard to get together.
WEight has not dropped but am OK with that. Working on trying to change what I do and I know from experience it is a slow process. With last week over I get hopefully get a little more on track. I know this will be difficult through the holidays. Starting some beans for bean and rice in my instant pot this am.
So excited the foundation estimate on building my new house is finally today. That just leaves the well which we have a call into but will be contacted again today, then a few days to finalize everything print it up and get it to the bank.

I hope that all my FS friends and families have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Like many am prep cooking for tomorrow I will be at my middle daughters home so taking requested dishes. Homemade rolls, homemade cranberry sauce (2 kinds) and family recipe for sausage and potato stuffing. Since the stuffing will not be inside the turkey went to 4 stores last night until I found some turkey thighs to top the stuffing while cooking.
It has been a bit of a topsy turvy week with trying to get groceries--stores out of things. That seems to be a way of life now, getting things to leave again on Friday after work (half day) and prep cooking. I am also making extra to take with
Little exercise, meals kind of random.
Next week will be better.

whelp I have decided tracking on weekends when 2 my cabin will be nearly impossible until I get internet set up there. So will track when I am home. Be mostly good there but some non-stress alcohol sometimes.
Food OK today still have to do some dinner only brunch so far. Am working on thanksgiving prep. Homemade cranberry sauce (granddaughter's fav), the family requested sausage and potato stuffing. Bread is rising to pop in the oven for the stuffing. about to start on homemade sausage the ground pork from a butcher shop that uses local meats. Took a few to check in here and look up my sausage recipe--adapted from an old Joy of Cooking book.

Sausage is done. Had a patty for dinner will double check the seasonings tomorrow after they blend in a bit more. Takes a day in the frig.

My July cruise has officially been booked! I need to look at least half decent in a swimsuit by summer plus moving to a lake area. It's a feel good about me thing.
Taking a quick dinner break. I was in "training" class most of the afternoon and ran around doing things on my lunch break so forgot lunch. It's cold out but supposed to be colder tomorrow so will get my car mostly loaded tonight. Not that much to go this time.
I will be away from internet for most of the weekend so may not check in and may not be the best at logging meals.

Today was get the unruly mop chopped off! A new hairstyle and I think I am going to really like it. The new stylist was terrific. I think I lost 2 pounds just in hair!!
Food has been under my goal as I really have not been very hungry. A good kick start I need to get more fruits and veggies worked in. So far this week I have missed on exercise also. Probably not a lot tomorrow as I am behind getting things ready to leave Friday--my car packed as I'm slowly getting my little cabin livable.
I will be taking a set of resistance bands with me and a kettle ball set. I currently have no you-tube access as internet is not set up--not choosing to pay that bill yet. I do need to start checking out my choices. Past time for bed--a later dinner due to my appt.
